Cavendish Square in Claremont held their first wedding expo last weekend, and I had a stand! The expo was a great success, and I’ve already booked a wedding from it, with hopefully a few more to follow. I also got some great feedback on my work, both from future brides and fellow photographers, which is always nice.
The expo also coincided with my rebranding. Instead of Nick Coyne Photography, my wedding photography business is now known as Nick Coyne Wedding Photojournalism. The main reason for the change was to immediately convey what kind of photography I do through the name. Introducing the word “photojournalism” also makes the brand stand out a little from the hundreds of other wedding photography businesses out there, and is very clear about what my style and approach is to shooting a wedding day. I also took it as an opportunity for a visual refresh, to a logo that I feel is a little more relaxed and hopefully more representative of me and my photography.
Can’t wait to get out there and shoot my next wedding – first one of the season is in September!
