I’m not supposed to pick favourites, but this will go down as one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever shot. Nina, from Cape Town, and Jorge, from Santiago, Chile, braved the wind and partied it up at an amazing wedding at Strandkombuis on the beach in Yzerfontein. A fantastic couple with the nicest bunch of friends and family that you could ever hope to meet.

Amanda and Steven travelled all the way from Virginia, USA, to tie the knot in a very small ceremony on the beach in Table View, near the Dolphin Beach hotel in Cape Town. Very small meant them, a minister to marry them, a videographer and myself.

While most people were stuck in the traffic going to work, Amanda and Steven were exchanging their hand-written vows in a beautiful morning ceremony. After we shot some portraits of them, they headed off to Stellenbosch for some wine-tasting, on a classic motorbike with sidecar. Too cool!

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of photographing Jasmin & Werner’s small wedding at Strandkombuis in Yzerfontein. They both travelled from Postmasburg in the Northern Cape.
