You might remember the e-session I did with Cathy and Hagen a few months ago. Well, their big day arrived on 11 December. They held their ceremony at the beautiful old Anglican church in Newlands, and their reception was at Silvermist on Constantia Nek.

I’ve been doing a wedding photography workshop with the Cape Town School of Photography, taught by the amazingly talented Mark Kalkwarf. We had some lectures last week, and Saturday we had a full day shoot at Constantia Uitsig wine estate, where a whole wedding was staged, from bridal prep all the way through to a reception and cutting the cake. The weather didn’t really play along, with rain the whole morning, but it did give us gorgeous soft light from the cloudy skies. With 2 great models we had many opportunities to get great shots, these are a few of my favourites from the day.
