Yesterday saw the third edition of Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk, a massive event that saw over 1000 walks globally. I joined the Cape Town walk which was in the area around the Cape Town Stadium.

Having been here to watch a World Cup game only a few weeks ago, it was rather wierd to experience the place without any crowds. Also many of the hospitality and other tents were gone or in the process of being broken down, so there was so much more space.

The old Green Point stadium seems to have been partially spared and the office space inside it was used during the World Cup. I’m not sure what the plans are for it now and whether they’re going to leave it up.
