Well, technically not a wedding. Ilse & Adrian got married in New York City (where they live) quite a few months before this, but without Ilse’s family present. So they renewed their vows in Stellenbosch, with Ilse’s family and friends, and also Adrian’s family who flew in from the US.

The ceremony was held at the Devon Valley Hotel and the reception was just up the road at the House Of JC Le Roux.

Last week I had another image featured on the Moment Junkie blog! They are a blog that focuses on those little moments within a wedding. Something emotional, poignant, cute or as in this case, funny. The image comes from Nina and Jorge’s wedding at Strandkombuis last year.

Weddings come in all shapes and sizes. This one was a lovely, small family affair on a farm near Cape Point. The ceremony was held in the bush above the farmhouse, followed by lunch at the farmhouse. The bride, believe it or not, is carrying twins!
